Black-footed Albatross 3

Image

Grid. No tracing of reference image… but never-the-less a time-saving shortcut. It’s a simple tool used to help capture the correct proportions that I haven’t used since I drew the female Wood Duck we found dead and photographed. Like the Wood Duck, a similar grid was placed over the original image of the Black-footed Albatross, allowing me to both duplicate the proportions and enlarge the dimensions. Now the hard part begins.
