Forster’s Tern (redo)

I have completely redrawn the Forster’s Tern from yesterday. The major motivation to do this was the poor structure of the previous study. Most obviously the head projection and tail length made the bird look more like a Tropicbird than a Tern. A large part of the redo was shifting the wings forward on the body, and turning the paper to landscape format to allow ample room for the streamers. I also felt that the only way to capture the gleaming white quality of the flight feathers was to offset them with a dark background. Far from perfect, but good enough to let me sleep better tonight…
